A Glimpse Into Your Role

As an Architectural Technologist, you will play an active role in project design and serve as a key technical resource throughout construction. You will be responsible for organizing and coordinating all the elements required for project design, estimating, and execution.

• Plan, organize, and coordinate the technical phases of projects.

• Prepare preliminary drawings and contribute to the development of construction drawings.

• Conduct regulatory and code compliance analyses for projects.

• Coordinate with architects, engineers, technologists, and other professionals.

• Participate in coordination meetings and ensure project deadlines are met.

• Provide technical support to project managers throughout construction.

• Oversee the preparation and updating of drawings, specifications, and technical documents.

• Track revisions and ensure accurate communication of information to all stakeholders.

• Maintain complete digital and physical documentation throughout each project phase.

• Ensure compliance with building codes, municipal regulations, and applicable standards.

• Conduct quality reviews and recommend necessary corrective actions.

• Contribute to improving the company’s technical standards.

• Optimize workflows and design processes.

• Propose innovative solutions to enhance project efficiency and quality.

• Actively contribute to the company’s technical development.

• Plan and organize your work while ensuring thorough follow-up on assigned projects.

• Perform any other related duties assigned by your immediate supervisor.

• College diploma (DEC) in Architectural Technology or equivalent

• Strong analytical skills and a proactive attitude

• Customer-focused approach

• Team spirit, initiative, and ability to work independently

• Leadership skills and enthusiasm for your work

• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience considered an asset

• Proficiency in AutoCAD

• Knowledge of Google SketchUp, Photoshop, and Revit considered an asset

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $23.00–$35.00 per hour
